Located near the town, the primitive building was built in 1664 to house the image brought there the previous year by a priest from Ódena. In 1889-92 the building was demolished and the new chapel was built, neo-Romanesque, with a bell tower on the vault. J.M. Jujol designed the fountain in front of the sanctuary and Joan Llimona painted the cambril in 1923. On the first Sunday of June, the Spring Gathering (the oldest of the southern counties) is celebrated there.
