JOSEP BUSQUETS WORKSHOP
Josep Busquets i Òdena (1914-1998) was a sculptor born in Fontscaldes who always had a strong connection with the city of Valls, in fact, he is known as "the sculptor of Valls". Among his most outstanding works is the restoration of the altarpiece of the high altar of the church of Sant Joan de Valls (1954) and the monument to the Xiquets de Valls (1969), among others, becoming Valls an exhibition permanent of the sculptor's work. For this reason, this space was opened, located in the Reduan farmhouse, which was where the artist spent a large part of the year, where a representative sample of his works is exhibited: wood carvings, plaster, bronze and stone , drawings... a journey through more than 50 years of artistic practice.
