One of the greatest representatives of Catalan modernism , the architect Josep Mª Jujol, erected a Sanctuary for the Virgin of Montserrat in the town of Montferri. Join us to discover this jewel of Camp de Tarragona, which took more than 74 years to complete.

Why did Jujol , Gaudí's collaborator , choose Montferri? How and why did you get this assignment? What problems did the town overcome until they could see the finished project?

You can walk through the village of Montferri, and reach the Cava Vives Ambròs , to taste a local product made with expertise. Or around the Gaià River , in one of the few places in the region where it is possible to cross it on flat feet.

• Guided visit to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Montserrat de Montferri.
• Interpretive audiovisual.
• Option to combine the visit with a guided tasting and/or degustation menu or calçotada in season.

PRICES

• Adults: €9.50 + VAT / person. (€11.50 VAT included). From 16 years
• Children from 0 to 11 years: free.
• Children aged 12 to 15: €3.72 + VAT. (€4.50 VAT included).
• Number of participants: minimum 6 adults, or we will add you to another scheduled visit.

Municipal entrance fee

**The prices of the guided tour do not include the entrance ticket to the Sanctuary of Montferri. It is a municipal fee managed by Montferri City Council, and therefore direct payment at the entrance of the sanctuary on the same day of the visit is mandatory.

Fiscal Ordinance No. 16 Fee for visitors and use of materials and public spaces:

• General admission: adults and children from 7 years: €4
• Reduced admission: guided tours, retired people or people with functional diversity: €2
• Free for children up to 7 years (0 to 6).

TIMETABLE

From Monday to Sunday with prior reservation, as long as it does not interfere with the events of the Sanctuary.

EXTRA INFORMATION

• The guided tour does not include the municipal fee of €2/person. They go to the Montferri Town Hall for the maintenance of the Sanctuary, and they pay at the entrance.
• Guided tours are for a minimum of 6 adults.
• The visit will be in Catalan or Spanish at the discretion of the guides. Tours are given in English and French.
• The starting time must be respected, the visit will start punctually at the agreed time.
• Outside the established days/times, check availability .
