NEW! - New audio guide and sign guide of the Museum of Alcover

The Alcover Museum has a new interpretive resource: an audio guide and sign guide to improve accessibility to the exhibitions of the municipal equipment. These resources have been created within the framework of the Visitmuseu program. The museums of Catalonia are in your hands with this project promoted by the Department of Culture; and it will be available to visitors to discover the memory of the noble house of Ca Batistó, home of the Museum.

The audio guide lasts approximately 30 minutes and the visitor can listen to it for free on mobile devices or with the tablets available at the Museum. The new interpretive resource has been produced in four languages and also in Catalan sign language.

Two women closely linked to the Museum's memory are the protagonists who guide us through the different rooms of the exhibition. One of them is the French paleontologist Laureance Beltan, who explains the different pieces that make up the paleontological collection found in Alcover. The other is Júlia Huguet from Reus, the last owner of the noble house, who tells us the story of Ca Batistó and its modernization process.
